Overview:

This premium cedar-timber retreat is the offers space for a home office, guest suite, hobby/craft room or multi-purpose area. It combines natural warmth and sophisticated finishes with functional build quality — designed to both look beautiful and perform reliably over time.
The wall panels consist of a 3 layer, “sandwiched” panel system – cedar then foil then hardwood ply with treated pine framing. This improves strength, with an amazing 219kmh wind rating and insulation against moisture / heat plus gives a smooth surface on the inside of the studio making it easier to paint if you decide not to line the walls.

Installation & Maintenance Notes:

• Clear and level site recommended; if ground is uneven the sub-floor kit will allow levelling via 75 cm treated stumps

• Maintenance for cedar: If left untreated it will naturally age to a silvery grey. To retain fresh timber colour, staining (e.g., Intergrain Ultra Deck in Light Oak) or painting is recommended — if painting, under-coat with an oil-based primer first

Installation info: The unit can be sited on a concrete base or paved area, or the subfloor kit can be used. Assembly is quite straightforward – the first step is to choose a nice level site in your yard. The floor is a base constructed either using a recommended subfloor or by laying a concrete slab. If the site is out of level the subfloor can take care of that as it comes with 75cm H4 treated stumps. Once the floor is in position the next step is to erect the pre-made walls, the panels are joined together via timber Tek screws and gables fastened into position. The roof is then assembled on the ground, lifted into position and fastened to the walls, the roof panels on this range are in sections, making assembly easier and requiring less manpower. Next the pre-assembled aluminium doors are placed and fixed into position. Finally, the corner posts, cover strips, fascias and the ridge capping are attached to complete the product.
